From penis envy, castration anxiety and phallocentrism: Marjan De Schutter (Hof van Eede, Zuidpool, Tibaldus) and Verona Verbakel take on the challenge to transport the ideas of the most fascinating, pioneering psychoanalyst of the 20th century visually as well as vocally to the stage. Marjan De Schutter and Verona Verbakel explore themes such as sexuality, gender and capitalism under the guise of this musical. Van penisnijd, castratieangst en fallocentrisme: Marjan De Schutter (Hof van Eede, Zuidpool, Tibaldus) en Verona Verbakel gaan de uitdaging aan om het gedachtegoed van de meest fascinerende, baanbrekende psychoanalist van de 20e eeuw visueel en vocaal op het podium weer te geven. Marjan De Schutter en Verona Verbakel spitten -onder het mom van deze musical- thema’s als seksualiteit, gender en kapitalisme uit.
